Hi, I guess

Why, hello there! Ich heiss Nixi. I've never really done this whole blogging thing before and I generally have the technological capabilities of an inebriated sea-cucumber, so please, bear with me. It'll be a learning experience for us both...or something...

Anyway, if you're reading this, you probably already know or wish to about me/my trip. So here goes.

As aforementioned, my name is Nixi. I grew up here:

Heard of Saint Louis? Yes? Good. Wait--heard of it for any reason other than crime?

Anyway...

For the last year and a half, I've been attending university (and thus living) here:

Heard of Kirksville Missouri? No? Well...there's probably a reason for that...

Well, anyway, this year, in a fit of having lived in Kirksville, Missouri, for two years, I packed my bags, hugged my pug, and flew away to scenic Bern, Switzerland. This process involved rather a lot of money, time, research, paperwork, and profanity and resulted in the death of several printer cartridges and several acres of the Amazon rainforest--but anyway, who cares because at least I'm here now.
